Longshot request, I wondered perchance if anyone may have captured the arrival of F-4C 64-0707 at Mildenhall in July 1986.
The aircraft was flown from Selfridge ANGB to Mildenhall to become an ABDR Airframe.
It departed Selfridge ANGB at 0337 EDT on 16th July 1986 en-route to Mildenhall.
I have the cockpits from this aircraft and I am looking for photos to put in the history display for the aircraft
Thanks in advance

Re: Request Mildenhall July 1986
have found some more info on the flight, 64-0707 left as part of a 5 ship from Selfridge. Tanked across the Atlantic with 2 KC10s.
The other 4 Michigan ANG F-4's landed at Lakenheath. One stayed there, the other 3 left the next day for bases in Germany, all to become ABDR Airframes. 707 landed at Mildenhall after 10+ hours flying Code 1. No discrepancies at all .
Still hoping someone captured her arrival, or her CH-47 lift over to Lakenheath.

Re: Request F-4C Mildenhall July 1986
Just found some more info the date 707 was airlifted to Lakenheath from Mildenhall,
First attempt was on 1/8/90 by a US Army CH-47 however it was too heavy, some more kit was removed and then was lifted on 18/9/90.
Thought this might help in pining down any photos of the Lift
Phanks
