Thanks for these. What a line-up. That camoflaged Meteor looks box fresh but doesn't the Tornado look great in that scheme. Very tidy indeed.

Where was that yellow C-130 from, lurking behind those USAF F-4s?

I think the C-130 was the Saudi one in desert camouflage - I think the scanning has made it a little more yellow than it should be,

those Jordanian F-5E's

Some real history here, and once again the photobus images are ace. Do you have any shots of the flying by any chance?

I think I had some flying photos but when I went through scanning I skipped those as I didn't feel they were good enough.

Loving that Belgium AF S-58... sadly never got to see one of those. Was meant to go to GC in 81 but for some reason we didn't go in the end. Went in 83 which was a superb show but no S-58 that year sadly and I think they were retired in 1984.

Great pics.

Ah I know the feeling. Greenham wasn't the greatest for flying shots either, at least for a big part of the day.

Aah, great stuff again! as for the Argentinian Herc flying the Union Jack, who'd have guessed within the coming year...

Interesting to see these one of only 2 IAT/RIAT that I have missed since my first one in 1979. Thanks for posting.

Great set, two things strike me, the viratey types and plenty of photogenic high viz schemes.
