On the 8th June 1993 eight F-117As of the 415th FS Holloman AFB, New Mexico deployed to Gilze-Rijen, Netherlands for Central Enterprise 1993 under the code name of "Coronet Havoc".
I, along with it seemed every other spotter, went to watch. I can’t remember why I chose the 10th June, but it was great to see them in action.

Awesome photos, and just how awesome was the F-117A, such a beast!
Still to this day it feels like their service life ended far too soon.

Thanks for these. Strange concept looking back. The idea that a few precision-guided weapons could be worth the investment in stealth technology.

Quite, in front line service for 25 years, some still flying today apparently, 36 years after the type's first flight. Or are we talking about the designers crossing their fingers on its first flight and saying "it may fly?".
Nice post Steve, G-R is a great base for viewing.
