Gosh I was there too, Got soaked if I remember carrying a picnic hamper of all things ( thank you Judy). I do recall the "python of hawks" as they were called. In the damp conditions whilst awaiting T/O we were just behind them and they reverberated through us...... memories

Very nice indeed! such was the quality and variety of the "Classic Farnboroughs" that even a downpour was just an inconvenience! and that year was a classic
