Farnborough 2004

Despite overwhelming indifference to the last lot, here the last of Farnborough shows mostly taken using film though a couple of digital shots are in there. The film shots taken using a Nikon F80.

Good set of shots there with some much missed types. I well remember the SAA 747 display. It seems incredible to think that in 2004, the 747-400 was being promoted and here we are less than 14 years later, the end of their passenger services is pretty much in sight.

Thanks for sharing! The first year I went (I think). Also my first sight if the Boeing F/A-18F display. Still one of the best fast jet demos I think! I went to Paris a year later and Airbus had added the A380 to the A318/A346 lineup. Most impressive, even if they kept the undercarriage down.
