Odds 'n' sods...

Post by iaint »

From a younger time...
I've spent some time recently scanning some of my early efforts at photography into a digital format from the 6x4 originals. Wasn't entirely sure how much post processing should be performed, and ultimately decided that it really wasn't worth performing anything barring a minor touch here and there...

Unsurprisingly, the earlier images (and the first photos I took were way back at IAT 1994 at the grand old age of 10) leave a lot to be desired. Saying, that some of my more recent efforts can still be rather suspect

Thought I might share some of these scanned photos - only the 'better' ones of course, so don't worry there probably aren't going to be that many!

Couple from IAT1994 as mentioned
Czechs were there in force, only this Su-22 was worth sharing - or more importantly it was the only one to actually appear properly in a photo :hide:

Found a rather lovely Belgian Air Force (Swearingen) Merlin at the IWM Duxford on a random day in 1999

Can't help but get Starry eyed at some of the German special schemes! RIAT 1999...

A USMC Harrier also RIAT99

And always a lovely sight was the rather 'odd' looking Italian PD808. Spot the RAAF B707 in the background

RIAT relocated to Cottesmore for 2000... I only did the Friday arrivals that year and 2001
Canada sent 8, yes eight, CF-188s to the show that year :dizzy: here's a couple:

Finland added more Hornets

More to be added... Bet you can't wait!
