1994 Leeuwarden Show

Post by planenuts »

Hi chaps,

Here is the first of many reports from that year, my most prolific and favourite from over 30 years of photographing military aircraft.
The initial 3 will be from 'Le Continent', then the rest from the UK consisting of shows and Wrecks/Relics. Chocks away......

First up, Hunter F4 N-138 preserved near the gate

F-104G Starfighter D-8051, was replaced during 2014 by D-8318, as it was corroded. Now scrapped

MiG-23, Frogfoot, Spanish Navy Harrier, Portuguese Corsair-duo...all in the flying display...and there were more crackers like the German F-4 or the Nimrod, just to name a few. Great line-up :hypno: And at that time the Dutch shows were held annually! Truly a great time for us.
Nice pix, thanks for sharing!
