Heads up for the Heathrow Snappers

Post by AndyS »

Hi all,

I have just returned from a job at Heathrow, and on the way back home took a detour around by the BA west base to see what (if anything) was parked up there.

Glad I did... G-GFFG is on the ground in Aeroflot Nord Livery. Obviously awaiting delivery. Its parked right near the fence (more or less where the trident used to be parked) and there is a good gap to obtain shots (sadly i didnt have any camera with me today).

Hope to return tomorrow with some pics (if its still in town!)

Best of luck if you decide to venture out to bag it.

Apparently G-GFFF is about up there too.

EDIT: G-GFFF is indeed there, parked where the Concorde used to be Parked at the BA hangars. It is now carrying VP-BXN as its reg number. I should imagine it'll be in town for a few more days yet as its got no rudder and both engines are covered with tape.

G-GFFG started flight testing today and will be doing so over the next few days.
