G-NOSE is still operating in the area. I wonder if it is capturing aerial photography, either of forest stands or settlements?

I was wondering if perhaps more map updating for Google etc as it didn't seem to be contracted to O.S. :dunno:

Up on ADS-B Exchange.
QUID 212 & 213 currently outbound towards Lands End to pick up receivers , operating FL200-240.

Looks like the receiver is/includes an E-4B ( callsign SECDEF1 ) which is also showing on ADSB-Exchange.

Air-air on 243.65

If they got an E-6B down to 100ft I think anyone on-board would do more than vomit !!
Showing as using callsign 'GUARDIAN 85'
Airframes.org has the ICAO24 hex code it's using ( 249249 ) as a dodgy one used by various US Military aircraft.

Oh , and 'SAM 196' ( C-32A ) currently Westbound via Brecon.

In this case, 249249 is being used by a Sea King.

Gnat G-RORI has been up in the last hour showing on FR24. First flight of the year I think, out to the east and back. Saw it in the distance north of Chelmsford.
