SE London Friday
SE London Friday
Does anyone know of anything that was around SE London on Friday? A friend said they saw something that they thought was the Lancaster to start with but they then decided it wasn't the Lanc but didn't know what it was. Seems to think it was probably WWII Any ideas anyone?

Yesterday was Saturday! If we are talking four engined WW2 then the only alternative is B17 isn't it. But it neither looks nor sounds like a Lanc.....

The B-25 went to Clacton too. Didn't it come from North Weald?

It was two BBMF Spitfires including the recently refurbished PR19 in silver. They landed at Southend for fuel around 1430.
