Lynx at Low Level Over Essex

Post by Richard E »

Just had the pleasure of seeing a Naval Lynx heading East towards Southend Airport near South Woodham Ferrers: not sure if it was a Fleet Air Arm machine stretching its legs before their retirement or a European machine heading home?

Presumably the same Lynx I saw over Ashford M20 Junction 9 at around 12:50

I think you will find it was GNY4612, a Lynx Mk88A 89+20 inbound Northolt for a fuel stop enroute to Yeovilton.
