I read from two different sources that RTB Duxford and missing BN was as a result of something 'falling off' after take off - has anybody else heard anything?

It has been confirmed by ARCo that NOTHING fell off the Lanc during take-off or it's flight.

They have studied videos of the take-off, and it was in fact a crow, that dived at the same point as lift off.

It returned to RAF Coningsby yesterday (Tuesday).

Was great seeing the Lancaster again today at Yeovilton, was convinced it wouldn't appear given the first flight was less than a week ago but as it approached with Spitfire escort everyone stood up and applauded

It flew over Northamptonshire en route back to Coningsby today with what looked like a photo ship flying nice and close alongside. Maybe some air to air photos to come?
