Chunky sounding radial over Lichfield

Seen with naked eye heading roughly W-E to the North. Russian sounding but not convinced it was a Yak...?? :dunno:

Avro Anson. Seen it pass over heading from Hinckley way towards Coventry way.

Ok, maybe an answer for you as the timings seem right....

There was an An2 paradrop scheduled for Silverstone, and it cancelled on the run in due to higher than required winds, even after dropping markers.

I think they said the para team was the army tigers? :dunno:
If so they were going to drop from low level anyway because of the cloud base.
