You Say
"Some of the Voyagers have been returned to lease"
would you like to expand on this because as far as I know all Voyagers are in service as they should be apart form the ones(4) used by to Jet2,Thomas Cook and Air Tanker

I thought the same as well to be honest. Would like to know what he/she is talking about.

The weather is good, the patriotism is incredibly high here at St. James. If the aircraft fly over 200ft should have no problem seeing them from where I am. Not at all as busy as I thought either, lots of room to breathe.

Not much in that one. Gets smaller every year.

BBMF were flying a holding pattern over Chelmsford though.

Disappointing this year, I stayed in Brantham and previous has seen them fly over the fields at the bottom of my road. This year much further away, probably 5 miles distant or so , must have been following the A12 at East Bergholt.Suprised to see the A400m on its own so far ahead and even further away than the rest. Lesson learned for next year.

Was it me, or were the flypasts a bit too much to the right and not centre? Stood on the side behind the gates and trees obscured a lot of the view until they were over the palace despite being able to see right down the centre of the mall.

Just seemed a little off.

I noticed this as well. Especially the reds. I was stood pretty much in the centre next to Buckingham Palace. They were flying to their left for some apparent reason.

Hmm was wondering why they were virtually on top of me at St James Park, was interesting nonetheless, even if it made shooting video harder

Would it be better going to St James Park or Green Park for the flypast in July for RAF 100 instead of getting close to Buckingham Palace along the mall?

Yes definitely, I went to have a butchers round The Mall and figured there were too many trees to get a good shot, so retreated back to a field in St James, which gave me ample view. I got a video in the videos section if you wish to look at it, which just shows you how much you can see from St. James. There's also another which is viewed from one of the bridges which looked quite good, however the bridge is quite busy.

I was in the Mall and they went right over the top. Didn't have any tree problems.

I was just to the South of the Mall unable to get any closer to St James park due to people and railings/barriers and I found them too much overhead. I usually go to Waterloo Bridge and will do so for RAF100 flypast.
