Not too problematic, thank goodness; additional speed limits, parking restrictions and no overtaking. No road closures.

You could interpret that as meaning that they're expecting a lot of people to be there and that they're imposing traffic restrictions aimed at preventing people being mown down, not keeping people away.

The WAVE will be open from 7am each day and the Police will be moving on/booking any vehicles parked waiting for the gates to be opened.

In addition, Lincolnshire/RAF Police have issued the following advice regarding this deployment via a leaflet. The Police will also be patrolling to enforce them.

• No stepladders will be allowed up against the fence or next to the fence
• No standing in the undershoot for arriving and departing aircraft.
• No standing or climbing on fences
• Keep verges and access routes of the A15 clear
• No drones
• Stay within designated viewing areas.

Oh and.... the RAF will be charging £5 per person for entry into the WAVE and RAF personnel will be on the gates.

The WAVE can take over 100 cars iirc so that’s atleast £1000 a day based on average 2 to a car.
Over 15 working days of the exercise - that’s £15,000. How much are these Toilets costing!!!!!

There's just over 140 car parking spaces at the WAVE, so work that one out!
Also, don't forget that many spaces will be used more than once each day - that's a lot of cash.

The RAF should organise some sort of refund if most people are gonna p*** their pants on first sight of the Israelis anyway. I usually do & it won't be my first time! ( for seeing or peeing! )
