I'm going to give it a go - The Hunter is not exactly a difficult kit to build and i have heard the Trumpeter Mig-21 MF is a peach to build evenwith all the extras I already have for it!!!!

Looking forward to this one... I got a nice trumpeter 1/48 SU-24M that I got for my birthday. I was thinking that I'll build it up in Algerian markings.

A kit I thought about getting several times but always put it off. Who does the Algerian marks for it or is it an OOB option?

I bought the Linden Hill decals so have a choice of 30 Iraqi aircraft.

With a Vampire, Hunter, Frogfoot and Fulcrum in the stash, I'm all set.

But now to get down to the USAF and Mosquito GB's.

I thought I would bring this one back into view for a couple of reasons.

1/ It's the next GB after the current ones, and will allow time to obtain kits, decals and the like in plenty of time.

and

2/ After the discussions regarding the poor turn out on GB's and the reasons why, I want to extend the timescale of this one. One of the reasons that kept coming up was that 3 months isn't long enough and it can be seen in most of the past GB's that more kits are unfinished than finished at the end. With the Spring upon us and Summer just round the corner, peoples time is taken up with other duties especially in the evenings and weekends ie Airshows, Gardening, Holidays which greatly reduces the amount of modelling time. Therefore I purpose to extend this GB to 5 months which will take it up until the end of November. With this GB and the WWI running along side being the last two of the present calendar this won't have a knock on effect on other GB's and hopefully it may encourage more to join in.

However it is also up to the other members on here if they are willing to accept the proposal.

Seeing as I myself plus Mrs. Fumbs will be travelling to the UK for Waddington and RIAT and add a couple of other shows in the U.S. during this build. I did have a few worries building my SU-24 with add-ons. I was worried about running out of time. The last thing I wanted was to get rushed. I Agree with Scott on this one to be extened. If all goes well. I could add in a SU-22.

I'll be building for this GB as per usual. I have an Iraqi Tu-22 Blinder in the stash. I quite fancy doing a few other jets. I've got the kits, just need decals.
