Cheers guys. The weathering is done, i've just got the 500lb bombs to paint up and install.

At present the kit is very shiny due to the Klear coat. I've got a tin of Humbrol Matt Varnish Spray for Acrylics, which I tested on my Lancaster 'test bed' and it blistered the paint. I recon this was due to the enamel paint which I used on it when it was built many years ago, even though it was coated with plenty of Klear before I sprayed it. The Mosquito was painted purely with Acrylics so it should be ok. My concern is that I used Halfords Grey Primer, which I think may be enamel, as an undercoat. Can anyone reasure me that it wont ruin this build if I use it? I'd cry if I did

I'm calling it done. I'm finding that the Matt Varnish is reacting to the Klear, so i'm not risking it on this build. I'll add further pictures to the GB gallery.

Nice one FTS she looks good and good call on not doing the varnish, I've been bitten quite a lot recently with varnish lifting my paint work. Thanks for taking the time to participate
