With the Sea Fury finished it's time to move on to the next build.
Keeping the trainer theme going, here is the Hobby Boss 1:72 Mig-15 UTI which comes with Iraqi markings. Although Iraq didn't use the Mig-15 fighter, they still had the UTI as an advanced trainer.
A few more parts to this one compared with the PM Sea fury.
Cheers

OK this one is now finished.
Here is a shot with the decals applied before the varnish is applied sealing them...
and here it is completed.
After I had put the canopy I found out that the interior colour of Russian jets was aluminium until sometime in the 1960's
when it then changed to the green/blue colour. As the pit was now sealed and painted green/blue, I decided to leave the wheels wells
and air brakes this colour too.
A nice kit which I enjoyed building.
Cheers

Thanks mate.
It's nice to know there is someone else looking at the GB section. With the school holidays coming up, it can only get worse!

Nice Mig Alan... Both your completed builds sofar for this GB look good. Just think... I was only about 20 miles from seeing your whole collection Maybe next year. We go back home Friday.. So I'll be able to get into this build next week. Looking forward to seeing the kit you bought at Cosford.

Should have had a beer call somewhere! Spent a night at a Travelodge at Bromesgrove last Friday!
Been a bit lazy and then busy since getting back on Monday but i have been watching! Looks an easy one to build, anything to watch out for on this one? Are you still brush painting as well? Great finish you have achieved!
Arabest,
Geoff.
52 in a year! We must be certifiable!

There were no issue with this kit Geoff no.
We missed a trick guys getting together for a pint, but with the weather at RIAT on the Saturday and the flying displays being changed, it was hard to try to pick a time when I wouldn't disturb you and the photography.
I'll try to be a bit more organised next year as it really would be good to talk 'models' over a beer.
Fumbles, safe journey back home mate and I'm looking forward to seeing you melt some plastic again.
