The Cold War dates from 1947(?) to 1991, so yes they do.

I just noticed this is a European/Eastern European Cold war GB? Still, they are allowed. Means I have to change my submission though :)

Would you be able to count in a P-51D, or the Mustang IV?

TT, feel free to step in any time mate.

Tommy, P-51's were still active in Europe, but they would be limited to Swedish, French or Italian aircraft as the UK got rid of theirs in 1947 which is the date at which this GB was starts.

Cheers Alan,

The thing is I a torn between the following

Revell 32nd scale Tornado GR1 - 9Sq (or 617), with all the parts

or

Eduard SU-22

Any thoughts?

Setting aside the fact that any kit you build will be a cracker (creep  ), I would like to see the SU-22 as it would be great to see some a/c's
from the 'other side'.

No creeping involved - my builds are ok, I could do better sometimes!

I was swaying towards the SU22 to be honest - I really want to build the 32nd GR1 but I might save that for later in the year.

I do have a few kits to show you but I have to wait a few more weeks first - all will become apparent..

Now don't tease James. You know you've got to do the build you are most interested in or it will be a chore!

As much as I would like to build the Jag, I will go for the SU22; it will be good to build something different as you have said. Build thread to follow int he next week once I have cleared out a couple of reviews I have to do.

Hi all,
Great to see a start from some on this but i cant really get out the rut just now! Its not a loss of mojo, just ive been busy on other things but hopefully im about to spring into action.

Anyway! Seen as i like my single type projects, i have a collection of hard wing Harriers all with Esci roots. I have 2 Italeri GR3, one with an AV-8A conversion, 3 Sword T-birds to make T2 and 4, and a T8.

However, the T8 is from the mid 90s, is this allowable?

Arabest,
Geoff
PS, The AV-8A conversion was to make a(non-accurate) GR1 but i see the artwork is up on the Airfix site! :dizzy:
52 in a year! We must be certifiable!

Just wondering, do any of you think I should crack on with my Meteor as well as my Canberra? Or shall I finish my Canberra then make my Meteor?

I misssed this mate.

I usually have two kits on the go as you might be waiting for somthing to dry on one so can work on the other.
