Cold War GB Spitfire S31 **FINISHED**

After much deliberating which to start first, this or the Sea Vixen the spit just piped it. Looks a real nice kit, just hope it builds as good as it looks. It seems that Airfix have really raised their game with this years releases, the look and feel of the kits are great.

Thats a good start with some great detail Scott. I always think it is such a shame that all the detail that we take care over and pride ourselves on is hidden from view but at least we (the modeller) knows it is there.

Hi all just a quick update.

Fresh out of the paint shop.

As I have turned to the dark side  I received an airbrush for my birthday I figured I would give it a go on this first. Any comments or advise would be greatly appreciated as I'm a noob to airbrushing malarkey

Great news on the airbrush front, I struggle to get on with them to be honest.

Sweet news on the airbrush Scott. I had a feeling something like that was going to happen on your birthday. I hope you like it? The kit is looking real nice now, no seams at all and a nice even coat of paint.

Finally got this finished. Even with a house move thrown in. Although not totally without incident, as the tail wheel got knocked off and never to be seen again

Very nice Scott... Looks like you already got the hang of the airbrush. Nice work on this one.
