Another way to do raised lines is to mask a line then use primer, building it up over 2 to 3 coats, let it dry fully before de-masking it. Once de-masked you get a nice line...
Looking forward to this one getting finished, need to get back onto mine really.

Re: Revell GB - RAF C-17A Globemaster III
Cheers Maisie,
Will try that one out in the future.
Nothing too exciting has happened since the last update but i do have it painted and should have it sitting on its gear soon.
Some Alclad for the silver bits backed up by nearly a jar of Tamiya XF-53.
And masked off to whiten the gear bays.
However, i am not looking forward to sorting the engines! Looks like the moulds have not faired well at all!
Not sure how that shows up but the surface is full of sink marks! Nore practice at least!
Arabest,
Geoff.

Hello again,
A wee bit more progress with the engines together but didnt go to town on them with Alclads like i intended.
Here, the engines have been filled as required and dry fitted to the airframe. They will now be painted over the next wee while then fitted. The u/c bays have also been whitened again and all the dangly bits will also be painted soon. Might not be able to update till after next week as im off on a wee road trip!
