Nice one Alan,
Really like the props so you will have to let out your secret on how you acheived that effect. Could do with being curved lines though to show how the plies lie.

The props were painted Games Workshop Dark Flesh and then I painted thin lines of Vermin Fur. Then they were givena coat of Klear.

Toward the hub of teh propeller I did try to bend the lines of VF in order to get that plied look.
