Have to start with one from my home team.
And then a couple of Dauphin variants... first, an Aéronavale example...
...and finally, an Israeli AS.565MA Panther.

Dirk-Jan, I think you just wanted to post your S-70, I can't imagine it really has a SAR role!!!

Re: Search and Rescue - Photo Thread
Three from me - though I can't help thinking that these would be better situated in the Golden Oldies area. However, I can't see anything that says they need to be modern SAR craft.
First up, a Labrador at Goose Bay in September 1988...
Going back more than a decade, one of Patuxent River's HH-46 SAR-birds in February 1975...
And, of an even older vintage, a German H-34 at Lee-on-Solent in mid-1972...
Is it my imagination, or were things more colourful back then???

Re: Search and Rescue - Photo Thread
Some interesting machines appearing in this thread, but nothing is really winning the kudos at the moment, Kier's Super Frelon is nice as is the Israeli Dauphin but I think there is more out there in people's archives...have a trawl tonight chaps!!!
Here's a couple more, first the now retired HH-1 Huey of the Fallon 'Longhorns' SAR Team and a Kamov Ka-32 of EMA, which is contracted for SAR by the Portuguese Department of the Interior!!!

Found a few more
This is pretty old - Farnborugh 82
Waddo 08
I think this qualifies as a SAR aircraft? Please let me know if it's used otherwise. Seen at Rome in 2006
