Mi-8PP ECM version (NATO name of Hip-K). It's in Slovak colours but I don't think the Slovaks operated them but the Czechoslovakian Air Force did.

Lovely version though and now part of the museum at Piestany airport.

Any more Hip photographs knocking about?

They are indeed lovely.

I'll take a punt with the countries:-

1st two are Bulgarian, 2nd two are Macedonian, the next after the ripple Hip is Croatian, next is possibly Serbian, after the two Peruvians I think its a Romanian, then Polish, then Latvian, then two Libyan Hips & ending in another Romanian.

Am I right Chris?

So who Operated this one then?

Image

Well this is the Remains of a German Mil-8 that was blown up for James Bond film "Die Another Day" The Mil was painted in Fake North Korean Air Force colours. My Dad had this mounted on oak and he also has the two Horizontal Stabs in the Garden Shed!

Its my only Mil-8 Shot

Correct on the Hungarian, but a slap on the wrist for suggesting Slovenia as they dont and never have had Hips

It is infact Polish, one of the many colourschemes!
