The one and only - Tornado F3
Noticed the F3 Farewell thread on aviation waffle so thought it would be good to start this - post as many pics as you like - the more the better
Heres a few to kick it off

A collection of F3s at Leeming I did a while back, hence the needless copyright banner...

Re: the one and only - Tornado F3
Beautifull images of a - in my opinion - a stunning looking aircraft .
Almost painfull looking at pictures of 43 squadron machines in a busy Leuchars ,
The good old days

Tornado F3 - Alive & Kicking! A few of my personal favourites from the last few years at Leuchars :
Re: the one and only - Tornado F3
Everytime I see that last photo, I struggle to find any words to suitably describe it. Just wow! The first shot of yours Mark is also a belter too - lucky man!

Some poorly executed scans from the 80s and early 90s.
5Sqn ZG798
11Sqn ZE764
43Sqn ZE831
56Sqn Firebird ZE785
229 OCU ZE209
229 OCU ZE253
229 OCU/56(R) Fred Grundy at Boscombe in 1990
I'm almost ashamed to post these now that I have seen those above. These shots taken with either a Praktica or a Pentax P30 using K64 film. Scanned on an old Epson scanner. Still they bring back great memories of the days when aircraft could carry some great markings/schemes.

Fred Grundy with the 'Red Zebra' was something of a legend and his display with the F3 was quite special.
Unfortunately it was around this time (1990ish) that the MOD decreed that the squadron markings had to be toned down.
Great thread F3 Fanatic. There have been some superb shots posted here already - especially AndyB's.
Cheers
Re: the one and only - Tornado F3
Think RIAT a couple of weeks ago might have been my last sighting of an F3.
Here's 3 I dug up from photobucket...
