Colourful CAG Birds - Let's see yours...

Post by TonyO »

Inspired by a recent thread on Scramble, I thought it would be a good idea for UKARers to share their pictures of colourful US Navy and US Marine Corps CAG birds. I realise not everyone will have shots of these, but hopefully everyone will enjoy those poste, so modex 00 and 01 jets, post away now...

With that last shot, Shaggy has got in ahead of my only recent CAG shot, so it'll have to be this one, from Mildenhall 98:

Perhaps should have put a three image limit per post, so the Shagster couldn't populate the thread with half the Western Seaboard fleet of Hornets...

I can't complete with you chaps, but I did see this F/A-18C of VMFA-232 at El Toro in 1997. Image

Couldn't get a shot of the whole plane as it was surrounded by people. Looks like something out of 'Reaper'!
