The gorgeous SBLim2 (MiG-15UTI) from Poland at Kecskemet. A midget compared to the huge Flankers of today.

Couple from me, not sure if museum exhibits are allowed in here or not so feel free to remove them if so...

Arguably one of the most gorgeous classic jets out flying on the circuit at the moment?

I know it's a sammy-side-on but I can't not include the newest addition to the classic jet scene...

Ok a few classic jets from me then as i'm twiddling my thumbs in the office right now. Some dubious photography involved at times (all through) but we'd all like to go back and shoot this stuff with our current gear and expertise.

Cessna A-37B Dragonfly

Postby ExCPONPC on Sat 12 Dec 2015, 3:58 am

I was doing a bit of a 'clean up and "rediscovered" these shots of the 'Dragonfly' at the Temora (NSW) Aviation Museum, I was a bit stmied by a major meltdown of my EOS the night before and had to rely on the wifes small Nikon, still not tooooo bad I suppose.

http://www.aviationmuseum.com.au/

Cessna A-37B Dragonfly;
The Cessna A-37B Dragonfly is a development of an aircraft originally designed in 1952 as a trainer for the US Air Force.
This “Dragonfly” is one of 254 Cessna A-37B Dragonfly's that the US Government supplied to the Vietnam Air Force (VNAF) during the Vietnam War.
Throughout the war A-37s were used extensively in support of Australian ground forces with many missions being directed by Australian Forward Air Controllers (FAC's). After the fall of South Vietnam in 1975, ninety-five VNAF A-37B aircraft were captured and incorporated into the Vietnamese People’s Air Force, the aircraft in the collection were among those captured.
This A-37B in its current configuration is designed as a ground attack aircraft and was developed to meet the COIN (counter insurgency) role.
