Here is a strange formation.. Agent orange aka Dave Hibbert in front of the Buccaneer S1 at Newark Air Museum at one of the their nightshoots.. miss them!

That's right!
Chinook, Alouette 3, NH90, Cougar, Apache, Sea King, AB412 and Lynx. The Sea King is Belgian, the others are Dutch.

A lucky capture I got at RIAT in the 'naughty field' this year. I was tracking the Apache and then - BOOM - the Viper streaked into the viewfinder!

A couple of an odd and well mixed formation seen at the 2000 airshow at Norwich Airport, weather was pretty grim so apologies for the quality .
Scandinavian historic flight A-26, Swedish based hunter and venom, Old flying machine company P-51D, and Meteor G-LOSM

I understand that it is not the best photo, but the award for the most bizarre formation of the year goes to XH558 and the RV8tors at Cosford:
