XW215, crashed in to the English Channel two days after Woodford after taking off from Manston. All crew were rescued and parts were salvaged on to another Puma which was wrecked itself a year later. Cause of the accident was thought to be linked to its recent operations in The Gulf (sand contamination etc.) resulting in mechanical failure.
