Came across this completely by surprise while hiking the hills above Arthog (mid Wales) while Mrs L and the kids were horse riding on Fairbourne beach. Very sad, but more so when you consider the timing and the story...they were heading home via RAF Valley just a month after VE day (crew plus passengers), mistakenly took a course in the opposite direction and hit the hillside while making a turn having realised their mistake.
