I spoke to Peter last year and asked why he is disposing of his fleet. His answer was " too many aircraft and too many women" . He should be so lucky!
The great thing about him is that he has supported so many small shows, events and 'fly-ins' with his WW2 aircraft, whereas other warbird operators would probably demand large fees this preventing their aircraft from attending such events. He will be sadly missed on the show scene.
