MAKS using Ian Allen or BAES

Post by frank »

Just wondered if anyone on the forum has gone to MAKS with a tour company - the likes of Ian Allen or BAES - and would like to share their experiences - good and bad. I read with interest that IA will be a using a river boat for the airshow and wondered how that worked for photography etc.
If you would rather not post but pm that would be ok too.
Would appreciate views and thanks in advance

Not going to MAKS but did see the IA tour info using the boat.
I did the 100th show last year and looks like they are heading south side on the boat. I was in this location ( on land) in August and it is superb for the flying display. At the time I remember thinking how nice it would have been to have had a boat!
