First Hurricane shot is lovely, 2nd Lancaster would have been an absolute belter with a touch of blur on the props. Nice catches though. :clap:

Love the angle of the Hurricane in the first pic, the Lanc with it's wheels down looks it's trying to land in that field :rock:

What a location/backdrop for an air-show :clap:

Steve, I couldn't do prop blur to save myself. The only times I get it are sheer luck, or with an aircraft that is around for a while and I can muck around with the settings. :sad:

Steve, I couldn't do prop blur to save myself. The only times I get it are sheer luck, or with an aircraft that is around for a while and I can muck around with the settings. :sad:


Why not?? Stick it on Av and use a 1/250th. Away you go.

If you are using a compact though, it must have a mode where you can select the shutter speed?

No Tom, I mean use Av and then change the aperture until you get 1/250th :grin: You might as well make it more of a challenge!!

I did of course mean Tv, I am a bit rusty!!

stood from 15.15 to 16.40 yesterday waiting on BBMF doing a FP at Dunscore , north of Dumfries never showed
glad they turned up somewhere :sad: :smile:
