It's one of the three that were 'reconstructed' in Russia in the '90s for David Price, based on wrecks recovered from Pacific islands. This was the first one done, so contains the highest proportion of original parts of the three. It is powered by an R-1830 from a DC-3.

Really good set through out and I echo everyone else 2 P38s :drool: , But why oh why put a smoke system in the Tigercat :confused: .

Never seen a US Army UH-72 before and the air to air P-38 :clap:

Gorgeous, all of 'em! Not sure about the Allison Spitfire though, just doesn't look right to me. Love that scheme on the Corsair, too.

Some great shots there,very much liking the Lightning shots.

Do they still have that cafe at Camarillo airport?, we were there in 2001 and they had the best steak sandwiches I have ever tasted in my life.....yum :tongue:
