The windiest and coldest air show I´ve been to. Had it been last week it would have been clear blue skies and 25 degrees.....but no.
The wind (cancellations and reschedulling) and incidents ( 1) Parachute mishap, where the paratroopers drifted into the woods and a car park with som injuries as a result 2) Burst tyre on the J29, leading to it beeing stuck on the runway for some 30 minutes) lead to that the sturday display became a slow and uneven affair.
Viggen went tech and anly flew in the "Saab formation", Lansen was cancelled due the the J29 incident. The spitfire and bleriot both cancelled due to the wind.
Nice and tight formations from the Sk 16:s as always...we still had some sun when they were flying, but in the eyes.
Finnish NH90 rolling in.
Started well but ended badly for some of the jumpers.
