Wittmund, Waddington, Yeovilton & RIAT 2013

Post by DeanW »

After a busy 4 weeks I've finally caught up with most of my editing from Wittmund, Waddington, Yeovilton and RIAT. So here's a bit of a review of my last busy 4 weeks..

Started off with a trip to Wittmund to say bye-bye to the Luftwaffe Phantoms. It was an awesome event, especially the Phantom cartridge start! Already seems like an age ago that they were retired..

While we were out there we did a bit of W&R hunting plus visits to the museum at Nordholz and Hamburg-Finkenwerder..

Plus we found this awesome Turbo Dak..

The following week I was meant to spend three days at Waddo. However, my car decided to break down no less than three times in one day, so I only managed to get up there for the Friday and Saturday.

Then on to Yeovilton. What a bloody good show. Highlights here were the A109 and Chinook.

Then a 6 day RIAT marathon followed. Those F1s are beautiful aren't they!

If you've made it to the end then congratulations and hope you enjoyed looking!

Thanks to everyone who has made all these shows so enjoyable. Roll on Kecskement..

Great shooting Dean, the RNLAF assets at Waddington, wide angle Vulcan and Seaking shots are excellent.
