Very Late - Arctic Thunder 2012

Very Late - Arctic Thunder 2012

Postby expat1 on Mon 03 Mar 2014, 1:36 am

Took these a couple of years ago. They're taken at the bi-annual 'Arctic Thunder Airshow' held at Joint Base Elmenndorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Luckily the weather played ball. Not something you can take for granted in this part of the world !!!

Super shots Keith! But I didn't realise Alaska had its own E-3? I thought they were all based at Tinker?

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Kenny. Yep, seems like Alaska has it's own complete separate little Air Force. I guess because it's so far from the other states. The only thing that seems to be missing is tankers.
