My First Shuttleworth Collection Evening Airshow

My First Shuttleworth Collection Evening Airshow

Postby EGL on Wed 28 May 2014, 12:36 pm

With the date of this coinciding with the Duxford airshow I decided to head down a day early to attend Old Warden. This was my first evening airshow and only second visit the last being about 10 years ago.

Great show with a fabulous couple of hours of flying in some spectacular conditions ranging from bright skies earlier on to rain, rainbows and a horribly grey sky. Really relaxed atmosphere and with the display line so close to the car park great for viewing/photography from next to the car after my son decided he was getting a bit cold!

+1 - great light on all the pictures! I think I'm going to have to make a visit here soon, heard so much and seen so many great pictures.
