South Queensferry RNLI Open Day

Navy 177 from HMS Gannet put on a SAR role demo with the South Queensferry lifeboat as part of the life boat station's open day. The location makes for some great back drops.

Nice. Looks like it was close to the Rail Bridge in some of those shots.

Was this from last Sunday? Heard a Seaking calling Navy 177 and observed it routing in over the South of Edinburgh, went round the city then disappeared around Cramond. Came into the airport around lunchtime, presumably to refuel. I assumed when I originally saw it off to the South this was the same machine that was on the ground at Stirling the previous day.

Very nice, the 9th shot framed in the arch would be my pick.

What a stunning backdrop, the head on shot is awesome.
