Shuttleworth August Show - Wings and Wheels 02-08-2015

Pretty good weather for the event. Slight disappointment regarding the lack of decent topsides from the Hunter and the WW1 duo kept a bit high, especially the Snipe. All in all though, a most enjoyable show.

King Cobra some nice pictures there, the WW1's had to display a little higher due to the blustery conditions as some of them have very limited controls and height gives a little bit more safety also the hunter seemed to be more energetic to me agaiin possibly due to the turbulant air at low level so maybe the top sides were judged to be less important than speed to the pilot?

Was not being critical, just observing. The Hunter did give a topside or two when head left to right but sadly at that time of day it put him straight in to the sun. Didn't detract from an excellent day and glad you liked the photos. I'm usually on our fund raising stall in hangar 6 so we probably see each other but don't know who each other is.

I knew what you meant I was just passing on the reason why the aircraft stayed high, like you say I'm sure we've walked straight past each other many times.
