Had quite a few shots I really like from last year, but plumped for this one at Konya

Love that one, Andy. Perhaps a tad noisy, but nonetheless a really fine composition, that. They blend into one these days, but that was in a POTW wasn't it?

It was a close finish between the Mosquito, Lancaster and P-38. The Mossie won by a nose. The image was taken at the 2015 EAA Airventure, Oshkosh, WI.

Some great images on here. Just joined this forum & it's clear there are a lot of talented photographers sharing their work which is good for those of us looking to improve. Tough call to select my fave from '15 but to try and find something a little different here is one of mine from Throckmorton last June.

Great thread - there are some absolutely amazing photos here and plenty of variety which is nice.

Indeed it does Dan. Here's my preferred Goodbye Vulcan pic - taken through the heat-haze as she was climbing away at Wellesbourne. I saw her a lot last year but this one seems to capture the emotion for me.

If you'll indulge me with a non-Vulcan pic then it would be this one. The first appearance at Eastbourne for the newly-restored Bristol Blenheim: a glorious sunny day and it thrilled the crowds on Beachy Head as it transited over to Shoreham early doors before the airshow started. I was just setting up my camera and got this shot:

Don't really recall anything that stands out from last year, but having glanced over my galleries on Flickr I was quite fond of this one a second viewing...
