Show report at http://avgeekphotography.net/index.php/ ... tion-2016/

The last ever public display by a USAF F-4 meant this show was a must do for many. As always this was an amazing weekend. Challenging high white cloud on Saturday was replaced by beautiful azure skies on Sunday. Highlights were many but the air power demo by the home based squadrons was very special as was the heritage flight with F-86, F-22A and F-35A. Seeing an F-35 in the air was a first for me, interesting to hear how much louder it is that the F-16. Visitors from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard were also present. The only foreign air power present in the show area was a RNLAF 'OT' F-35A currently operating out of Nellis. Sadly, the Spanish C-130 stayed rooted to the far side of the airfield.

... A stunning set of images - sad that the F4 flights (yet another thing that we so took for granted) are now resigned to the history books. At least there are a few others still flying around the world. Thanks for sharing these

Good shots.

I was last there in 2004 when there was an equally small crowd, not that I was complaining!
