Took advantage of the new angled fence line down at the M11 end for landing shots and had a good 8 to 12ft of it all to myself. Pity about the Sea Vixen and its wheels up landing back at Yeovilton but I did get to see it twice in 3 days flying at Duxford. The Rafale display made the Typhoon display look almost pedestrian and it was moving that fast I couldn't pan quickly enough to get a decent topside shot. The stiff breeze did put paid to several of the displays but it did help to keep the temperature down and the light later in the afternoon was excellent. Just a small selection of what flew. In the order taken

Is that sigma 100-400mm lens the new contemporary one? If so, what do you think of it? Looks brilliantly sharp in all of them shots

Canon
Yes that's the Sigma 100-400mm Contemporary lens. I was finding the Sony 70-400mm a bit heavy and large to use, getting older now, and was looking for something smaller and lighter. It's about the third time I've used it and the first time I couldn't believe the image quality I was getting from it strapped to a Sony A6300/6000 with a Sigma to E-mount converter but it's remained consistent in sharpness even at the 400mm end.

Great set Brian, and as commented, the Spits shot is a cracker

You've captured a wide spectrum of aircraft and some interesting 'poses'. Nice work.
