Late Legends Saturday

Taken me a while to catch-up with my photo's from Legends!

I was there Saturday only which meant that while I got to see Berlin Express take off and make one pass minus canopy I did miss out on the Horsemen, Frenesi and seeing all 5 Hurricane's together. However still had a thoroughly enjoyable day out. Battle of France piece was a definite highlight along with the Norwegian Dak which is always displayed more like a fighter than a transport!

Can I ask where exactly you were standing? Since the tank bank closed I've been heading to the M11 end, but I'm really missing getting those low take off shots, like your Berlin Express one...

I would guess EGL was somewhere between me (on the grass verge in front of the American Air Museum, in front of the Daks) and the Land Warfare Museum, judging by the take-off shots.

I've updated the URL's as I re-published these last night to Flickr as I'd left on a tiny copyright when I was playing baout with Lightroom.

Yes - I was up near the Land Wardfare Hall, at the top of the embankment. Despite getting on site at around 7:45 there were no spaces to be had on the crowd-line!

No worries at all, I've not looked at my selection yet. Lightroom ordered, so it should be fun playing with that

Cool. I was on-site at 8.15, and was shocked (or maybe not) to see the crowd-line full, I probably passed you at some point. Found a spot I was happy with opposite the Daks, though there location did hinder take-off shots And not too far away from the loo
