Duxford BoB Sunday '17

Post by ShutterPlane »

Here's a few snaps from Sunday. It was a challenging day due to the position of the sun. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Well if that doesn't make us realise how well off we are for warbirds in the UK nothing will! Lovely to see the Spitfires together, and the Hurricanes too!

Lighting does look quite tricky - it was wall to wall sunshine here in Essex until quite late in the day and I was at home rueing my decision to stay away.

Amazed how few photo threads have emerged though.

I was thinking the same thing. Time was when following a Duxford show there would be loads of posts from inside and out.

I was dissappointed that I didn't manage to get a good one of the BBMF Lanc.

It got worse for a time with the sun, see the Falcons photo for the sun position, though I thought I'd share that one, even complete with lens flare.

Good efforts, really like the last one of the Hurricanes

Wasn't just the position of the sun it was the god awful haze which typically appeared just in time for the flying :surrender:
