Sloboda 2017 - Batajnica AB, Serbia
Hi all,
Last year a military event called "Sloboda 2017" was held at Serbian Air Force Base Batajnica. As there was not much known about the event, it was a huge gamble to go there. In the end, it turned out well. You might have seen some photos in various magazines. Here some more shots I took during the event.
A full report, almost 200 photos, can be found at my website: http://www.fly-by.nl
Many more shots can be found at my website http://www.fly-by.nl
Best regards, Rob.

Wow, that looked a bit special. I'd love to have seen the special forces hijack demo - a very unusual air show event.
I expect that if they are to repeat the event sometime, the turnout from foreign enthusiasts will go through the roof.

A nice selection of aircraft types, most of which I have never seen.

Thanks guys
I don't know. This was mainly to show their new stuff like the six MiG-29s, armored vehicles and the project 1500 (soldiers).
Photos of the vehicles and soldiers are in the report on my website.
Best regards Rob.
