MCAS Yuma open house 2018

[Fumbles]

Hello all.. Freshly back yet again from the sunny SW USA. I spent an awesome 10 days with great friends, many beers and many miles on the car. (2570 Miles in all) During that 10 days we travelled from Las Vegas to NAS Fallon then on down to Rainbow Canyon, back to Las Vegas to cover Red Flag 18-2 and finished off the weekend covering MCAS Yuma show Saturday and Luke AFB show Sunday. For today here is a look at what I thought was a great show! It wasn't long, flying started around 10:30 and finished by 3:30/4pm. But it was packed with all kinds of goodies like the Harrier demo, F-35B demo and of course a short demo by the local team that included the based F-5s. Static was thin but also had a few gems like a F-35 boss bird with colour! The only snag was heat haze down low.
