Despite the poor weather forecast for yesterday I decided to go (made the mistake with Bruntingthorpe CWJ)...and good job I did. It was a bit dark at the start but the evening sun appeared later, nice to see the BBMF Spitfire MK356 in the desert colours. Stu Goldspink was excellent as always in the Hurricane P3717 and what seemed a better display by Spitfire AR501 (from last show) flown by Jim Schofield. Sorry if the post is a bit Hurricane/Spitfire heavy...

That desert camo Spit is gorgeous. Hope I can catch up with it later in the season.

Lovely pictures. How was it trying to hold the Sigma steady with the wind?

No real problems to be honest..although I prefer the Sigma on my 1DX (seems better balanced), but its currently being fixed (shutter problem). I have a 100-400mm Mk2 which handles best on the 7D Mk2, but I let my sister use it yesterday (her first visit to OW).
