Perfectly timed at RIAT

Post by tommc »

Image

The altitude of the pass, the positioning of the speaker, and the timing of the shutter press coincide in perfection.

Anyone else manage to achieve this sort of skill at the weekend?

I achieved several shots with the same brilliant timing at FL today - seemingly every time i tried to get a takeoff shot the speakers jumped out and got right in the way!

I would highly recommend an angle grinder (that's what we call 'em down 'ere in Oz) with a 7" wheel. Like a hot knife through butter. Dunno why they insist on putting the speakers along the flightline...

If I don't bring home a speaker shot and the obligatory someones head in the way, I'm most unhappy.

I don't mean to be critical but the subject matter is totally out of focus and not centered. Not bad for a newbie, I guess, but I would expect better from a seasoned vet.

No speaker shots, but numerous shots of the 'step ladder brigade' heads managed to get into mine!
