Brize at sunset

Post by Jonesy »

Brize Norton's pretty fortunate to have a runway that lines up fairly well with the setting sun during the winter months. Whether its a head on shot of an aircraft bathed in lovely light or of an aircraft silhouetted with the last light of the sun, Brize sometimes produces some lovely results. Here's a collection of shots that I've taken.

Really like the last 3 shots, would love to spend an evening taking shots of some VC10's circuit bashing! Thanks for sharing :)

The flight crews would probably disagree with that - it's a bit of pain to try and land with a low sun right in your face  Lovely shots though

All brilliant Neil. XV102 looks like it's right on the numbers ;)

I must have a trip down the end sometime with my camera - it's been years.

See you in 2010.

Another vote here for the last Tristar shot although the rest are excellent too.
